Impact
From 06:02 to 08:08 UTC (11:47 to 13:53 NPT), about 2 hours 6 minutes, the Solas API was unreachable. Users couldn't log in or use app.solascompliance.com. Scheduled background jobs kept running.

Cause
An automatic security update restarted our web server, and the restart failed. The application itself stayed healthy, but traffic couldn't reach it. We've changed the server setup so this failure can't happen the same way again, and it now recovers automatically if a restart fails.
